In 2004, Sprint and NEXTEL merged, forming the Sprint Nextel Corporation (although many simply call it Sprint). The company owns both Boost Mobile and Virgin Mobile USA, and together make it the third largest wireless telecommunications network in the United States. Now, what separates Sprint from their main competitors is that they offer their customers unlimited data usage. As they like to put it, “truly unlimited” data. That means there’s no data cap, unlike AT&T and Verizon Wireless.
