The HTC Corporation (formerly known as High Tech Computer Corporation) is a Taiwanese based electronics company that specializes in smart phones and tablet devices. While virtually invisible in the United States before 2008, but when it released the HTC Dream (aka, the T-Mobile G1), it placed HTC as a big competitor, debuting the first Android ran smart phone. Since then, HTC has been designing an array of high-end (and low-end) smart phones, many of which have been considered some of the best Android devices their respected year of release. This would include the HTC Incredible, the HTC EVO series, the myTouch Slide series and the HTC One series. The company has been ranked as one of the most innovative companies in the world. Who knows, maybe one day HTC will begin to assess creating their own mobile operative system that might even rival Apple iOS, Google’s Android or Microsoft’s Windows Phone.
